Kick-start projects with the project and business case canvas

The Project Charter has been the document traditionally used to document the purpose of the project and formally approve the start of the project, but for years Visual Management has changed the way of documenting, giving more value to collaboration and communication.

In this project kick-start workshop, we will show how to start a project through what in agile methodologies is known as the Inception and document it through the Project Canvas and the Business Case.

Objectives

Knowing and applying the key concepts that describe a project
Use the Project Canvas to define the project and facilitate the decision on its approval and also as a guide during the execution of the project
Understanding and implementing a business case for simple projects by evaluating different alternatives and estimating costs, risk and benefit
