The PMBoK® Guide or Project Management Fundamentals Guide is probably the most widely read project management book in the world with more than four million copies.

The PMBoK Guide is studied and used as a reference for project management in more than two hundred countries and in hundreds of thousands of companies. There are more than one million professions that already have the PMP® certification, more than ten thousand in Spain. Its study provides a broad and deep knowledge of the main areas of knowledge of the project management discipline: scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risks and procurement.

The book ‘Guide to the Fundamentals of Project Management (PMBOK® Guide)’ is NOT included as it is available in digital format and free of charge once you are a member of the PMI, which is recommended for all those who want to obtain the PMP® certification.

The PMP or CAPM exam is NOT included.

General conditions:

  • In the event that a class cannot be held due to illness or major cause of the trainer, the class will be rescheduled within a period of no more than one week.
  • In the event that the course is attended by fewer students than contracted, the cost of the course will not be modified.
  • The absence of some students from a session does not invalidate the session nor does it imply the obligation to give it again.

At the end of the course the student will be able to justify the 44 hours of training required by the PMI in order to be eligible for the certification exam.

This programme is aimed at any professional who is working or will be working on projects. This includes:

  • Project managers.
  • Business analysts.

  • Any other member of project teams.

Although this course is not designed for students to obtain the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification, it is one of the benefits that attendees will obtain as its programme is fully in line with the preparation requirements for this certification.

Those wishing to prepare for the certification should consider the following criteria for eligibility:

(a) If a university degree is available:

  • General project experience
    • 500 hours of work leading project teams
    • 36 months of experience leading project teams
    • These hours must have been obtained in the last 8 years.
  • Project management training: 35 hours
  • Examination : 4 hours knowledge test and 200 multiple-choice questions.

b) If you do NOT have a university degree:

  • General project experience
    • 500 hours of work leading project teams
    • 60 months of experience leading project teams
    • These hours must have been obtained in the last 8 years.
  • Project management training : 35 hours
  • Exam: Knowledge test of 4 hours and 200 multiple-choice questions.
