Event: Power skills, the true engine of project success

Last Friday 9th May we talked about what many still underestimate, but which changes EVERYTHING in project management: Power Skills.

At the International Lab we met with curious professionals, eager to go beyond methodologies.
Because projects don’t fail for lack of tools. They fail for lack of leadership, communication and emotional management. Project managers with the right skills make the difference!

How power skills can change the course

We saw this with real examples, Telescopio James Webb, one of the most complex and ambitious projects in recent history. After years of delays and cost overruns, it was not new software that saved the project, nor the improvement of the team’s technical skills: it was a new project manager with powerful Power Skills. With assertive communication, psychological safety, conflict resolution and the ability to align teams, he achieved what seemed impossible.

We were left with enriching discussions, new connections and a clear conclusion:


Power Skills are not soft. They are the hard core of success.
